THE MANUFACTURING PROCESS
At Mimanka, we are proud to be a true "Made in Italy" brand. Each piece in our collection is crafted in our Naples studio and is an expression of Italian craftsmanship.
It's not just the jewellery itself that is made in Italy; every aspect of the production process exclusively involves Italian artisans or companies. Every component of our jewellery, such as the metal chains, is made in Italy and assembled by our Neapolitan artisans.
Our 925 sterling silver jewellery is meticulously crafted step by step in Naples, Italy. The design and 3D modeling take place in our studio, while our Italian artisans oversee the casting, shaping, and polishing of the silver.
Each item is then shipped to Florence, where it is carefully micron-plated in 23-carat gold or rhodium-plated to give it the final touch and ensure greater durability and product quality. For gilding, it is micron-plated in 23-carat gold, and then a protective e-coating is applied to our jewellery before it returns to our Naples studio.
Once the various components have returned to our studio, the jewellery begins to come to life as it is artisanally assembled by our team. MIMANKA invests in Italian craftsmanship, from the talented artisans we work with to the factories from which we source our components.
We constantly search throughout the country to find "premium" quality pieces that allow us to replicate the high level of Italian luxury craftsmanship through the creation of our jewellery.
An example is our Murano beads, which add vintage charm to our jewellery. The MIMANKA Team consists of artisans whose work we support and who allow us to call ourselves a 100% artisan brand in every respect; even the dust bag is entirely handmade by our seamstress in Sicily.
